Bauddhanath:
Bouddhanath is protected by UNESCO world heritage site. Bauddhanath is among the largest Stupas in the south Asia and it has become focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal .The white looms 36 meters overhead. The Stupa is located at the ancient trade route to Tibet and Tibetan merchants rested and offered prayers have for many centuries. When refuges entered Nepal from Tibet in the 1950 century many of them decide to live around Bouddhanath. They established many Gompas and little Tibet Nepal was born. This little Tibet still the best places in the valley to observe Tibetan life style. Many people believe that Bouddhanath was constructed in the 5th century. The Bouddhanath is the visual feast of the colorful Thangkas, Tibetan jewellery hand-woven carpets; mask and Khukuri (Knives) are sold in surrounding stalls.
Patan City:

Patan is protected by UNESCO world heritage site. Patan is the second largest city in the valley. It is some time referred to as Lalitpur, which mean city of beauty. Patan has long Buddhist history and the four corner of the city are marked bay stupas. Patan’s central Durbar square is absolutely packed with temples. It an architectural feast with a far greater concentration of temples per square meter than in Kathmandu or Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur city:

The Bhaktapur city is protected by UNESCO world heritage site. Bhaktapur also known as Bhadgaon, It means cit of the Devotees. It is the third major town of the valley and in many ways the most mediaeval. The Bhaktapur is on of the most charming architecture showpieces of the valley as it highlights the ancient the main items of interest in the Bhaktapur are: The lion gate; Dating as far back as 1696AD. This gate is guarded on either side by two huge statues of lions. Along side there are two stone images of Gods. Changu Narayan
The Changu Narayan Temple is protected by UNESCO world heritage site. This is the most ancient temple of Kathmandu valley. The temple built third century is decorated by some of the best samples of stone, wood and metal crafts in the valley. A 5ht century stone inscription, the oldest to be discovered in Nepal, is located in the temple compound and it’s told of the victorious Kind Mandev. Pokhara Valley:
 
Pokhara valley (827m.) lies in 200 Km west of Kathmandu valley. The valley is the most popular destination in Nepal after Kathmandu. It is the second biggest city of Nepal where around 135000 inhabitants live. This city became the most interesting especially when explorers found that it is the only valley in the world from where one can see snowcapped mountains higher than 8000m. from below 1000 m. Gorkha:

The name Gorkha evokes images of fierce warriors wielding kukris; renowned for their bravery and total disregard for danger. Gorkha is the name of the town and the district from which these fearless tribes hailed. Once a tiny Himalayan kingdom ruled by the Shah dynasty, It was from here that Prithvi Narayan Shah, ancestor of the present king marched his Gorkhali army into the heart of Kathmandu and overthrew the ruling Malla king.
When the mighty British failed to subdue the Gorkha forces in the 1800s they were inducted into the British army and soon became a force to reckon with. The British called them “Gurkhas”. The Gurkha personifies bravery. No fighting force has ever earned so much respect for its valor and discipline.
The district of Gorkha stretches from the raging river Trishuli (popular for rafting) to the arid border of Tibet. With its verdant river valleys and sharply rising hills, Gorkha is ideal for treks. The terraced hillsides shine yellow and green in bright sunlight. Delightful hilltop villages far removed from the trappings of the 21st century dot the countryside.
Manakamana Temple:
A scenic and pilgrim spot and is reached by Cable Car or half day trek. This is the origin place of Shah Dynasty and Great king Prithvi Narayan shah was born there and his processes of unifying Nepal started from there about 200 years ago. The present king is the 11th generation of him. There is a great temple called Manakamana Temple. It is a famous temple where you wish to fulfill your wishes. It is located in about 90 km west from Kathmandu.
